Creating a doctor-specific template with their signature

This guide is exclusively designed to assist Practice Mangers with creating doctor-specific templates that preload with the doctor's signatures.

1. Open the letter (word processor) from the Main BP screen

2. Click on "Templates"

3. Click on "Edit template"

4. Select the template you'd like to edit

This example used Specialist referral, you'd need to make one for each specific template the doctor(s) use.

5. Click to just above the <DrName> area

6. Click on "Insert"

7. Click on "Object > As Character"

8. Click on "Paintbrush Picture"

9. Click "Ok"

10. Draw your signature

This digital signature should differ slightly from your normal signature so you're able to determine it's origins

11. Click on the "X" to close

12. Crop / Move the signature as required

13. Click on "Templates" again

14. Click on "Export template"

15. Save the template anywhere

File name is not necessary

16. Click on "Templates" again

17. Click on "Import" this time

18. Locate and open the recently exported template

You exported the template in Step 15

19. Click on "File"

20. Click on "Save" (CRTL + S)

21. Name this to the Drs name - (ie - Specialist Referral *Nick*)

22. Click on "Save"

DO NOT TICK "Available to all users"

23. Close the template

24. Open the letter (word processor) from the Main BP screen again

25. Click "Add" from the bottom left corner

26. Locate and add your newly created template

27. It will pre-load with the doctors signature

You will need to rinse and repeat this guide as many times as required for all the templates used by each doctor.
